Flush-Cut Wire Guillotine — Benchtop Shear for Soft Wires up to 1.5 mm Diameter

For wire that has to end in a clean, square face — solder joints, butt joints, batch components — a guillotine beats pliers, which pinch the end into a wedge. Feed the wire through a guide hole, pull the lever, and the hardened blade shears it flush at 90 degrees, the same way every time. Handy alongside our wire gauge guide when planning stock.

It takes soft metal wires up to 1.5 mm diameter (14 gauge, down to 40 AWG) and will cut several at once when you need matched lengths. The lever needs little force, and 1.5 kg of tool keeps everything planted on the bench mid-cut.
