Toolsmith Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. The registration covers how we collect, store, and use customer information from this storefront — order details, contact information, account data — and gives you a clear regulator to escalate to if you ever have a complaint about our handling of your data. Our primary manufacturing partner, Pik Pak Industries in Sialkot, holds a current ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate. The certified scope explicitly covers Jewellers / Watch / Optical Tools — so this isn't a generic plant standard, it's assurance that the tools we ship are made under audited, traceable QMS controls. Issued by YBM International, accredited under the UAF / IAF multilateral recognition arrangement.

REACH is the EU regulation on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). Our manufacturer has been assessed to confirm that no SVHC listed by ECHA appears in finished products above the 0.1% (weight/weight) threshold. For you that means the steel, brass, and timber in our tools are safe to handle at the bench without exposure concerns from regulated chemistries.

A signed letter from Pik Pak Industries confirming that Toolsmith Ltd (Company No. 16520777, VAT GB497504454, 39 Heather Road, Birmingham B10 9TE) is an authorised distributor of their precision-instrument output. The letter also restates the manufacturer-side certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, REACH, and EU MDR via authorised representative). Useful provenance if you ever need to verify the chain of supply behind a tool you bought from us.

Our parent company Toolsmith Ltd holds an accepted trade mark application at the UK Intellectual Property Office for the figurative mark "TOOLSMITH LTD — Empower Your Workbench" in Class 8 (hand tools, cutlery, side arms, razors — the regulatory class our entire catalogue sits in). The application was accepted by UKIPO Examiner Becci Woodcock on 7 May 2026 and is currently in the 2-month opposition publication window of the UK Trade Marks Journal. Once that window closes (mid-July 2026) and assuming no opposition is filed, the registration certificate will issue and we will update this page to ®.
