3-Piece Casting Kit — 2" & 3" Crucibles, Stainless Steel Whip/Pinch Tongs, Silver, Gold, Copper

This 3-piece set equips bench jewellers with versatile crucible dishes and sturdy tongs for efficient metal refining and casting.

What it does

This kit offers two crucible sizes, a 2-inch and a 3-inch dish, allowing for flexible metal volumes during melting. The accompanying stainless steel whip tongs are engineered with precisely formed jaws to securely grip both crucible sizes, ensuring stable handling. The shallow bowl design of the crucibles aids in controlled pouring of molten metals directly into your investment or mould. The single-loop handle on the tongs provides a comfortable, one-handed grip for focused work at the bench.

How to use it

• Select the appropriate crucible size for your melt.
• Securely grip the crucible with the whip tongs.
• Carefully pour molten metal into your prepared mould.

Who it's for

Essential for UK jewellers, silversmiths, and craftspeople regularly refining or casting gold, silver, or copper. This kit is ideal for those graduating from basic hobby setups to more serious work, replacing improvised solutions with dedicated, reliable tools for small to medium melt volumes.
