Wire Draw Plate — 52 Holes, 0.26–4.10 mm, Tungsten Carbide, 20.3 × 5.6 × 0.5 cm
A drawplate for taking gold, silver, copper and other soft wires down to precise gauges at the bench. With 52 graduated holes running from 0.26 mm to 4.10 mm, it covers heavy stock through to fine wire in a single plate — a range worth understanding alongside our wire gauge guide. Each diameter is etched beside its hole, so finding the next size down is quick.
The working holes are tungsten carbide inserts set into a brushed-finish steel plate, giving far greater hardness and wear resistance than an all-steel plate — the holes stay to size through repeated drawing. The plate measures 203 × 56 × 5 mm; wipe it clean after use to keep the sizing accurate.
