Forming Pliers — Deep Concave & Convex Nylon Jaws for Metal Strip and Wire Bending

Forming pliers for pulling smooth, controlled curves into strip and wire — bangle blanks, ring shanks and other curved components — without marking the metal. The deep concave jaw works against its convex opposite, so the stock is supported on both faces through the bend and comes out curved, not kinked. Shanks formed this way can then be trued on a ring mandrel.

Both jaw faces are nylon, protecting polished and precious-metal surfaces, with the lower jaw screw-fixed to the steel body for stability. Box-joint construction holds the jaws in alignment through repeated forming, and the blue vinyl-coated handles give a secure, comfortable grip. The nylon is the sacrificial surface here — it wears so your finish does not.
