A versatile 7-inch rotary punch plier for creating clean, precise holes in sheet metal and leather up to 2mm.

What it does

This essential bench tool features a rotating turret with five hardened steel punch sizes, ranging from 0.8mm to 2.0mm. The knurled turret edge allows for smooth, secure rotation, enabling rapid selection of the required hole diameter. Its robust stainless steel construction ensures durability and consistent force application, delivering crisp, burr-free results on pliable materials without deforming the surrounding sheet.

How to use it

  • Select the desired punch size by rotating the turret.
  • Position the material accurately within the punch jaws.
  • Squeeze the handles firmly to create the hole.

Who it's for

Ideal for UK silversmiths, jewellers, watchmakers, and serious hobbyists. This tool streamlines the creation of rivet holes, connection points, or decorative elements, replacing the need for multiple individual punches and maintaining precision for intermediate to professional benchwork.

Common questions at the bench

What can they punch?
If this product's description gives a material or thickness, stay within it. Punching harder or thicker material than the tool is made for can bend or blunt the punch.
How do I place a hole or notch accurately?
Mark the position with a fine marker or scribe, line the punch up with the mark and check from the side before you squeeze. Then squeeze in one firm, steady movement.
Will the hole need finishing?
Check the edge after punching. If a burr or rough edge is left, especially in metal, smooth it with a needle file or fine abrasive paper before it touches skin or shows on the finished piece.
How should I look after them?
Clear any punched-out pieces from the jaws after use, wipe the tool clean and store it dry. Do not use it for gripping or as a lever.
