Securely handle delicate gemstones and small findings with these 16.5cm stainless steel tweezers, designed for precision jewellery repair.

What it does

These tweezers offer a precise grip essential for intricate jewellery work. The finely serrated inner jaw surfaces provide a firm, non-slip hold on even the smallest beads and faceted stones, preventing accidental drops during placement or repair. Machined ridged finger grips ensure comfortable control and stability for extended bench sessions, allowing for accurate manipulation of components without fatigue. Their straight, pointed tips align for delicate pick-up and positioning tasks.

How to use it

  • Gently grasp the component between the serrated jaws.
  • Position the item with steady, controlled hand movements.
  • Clean jaws after use to maintain grip efficacy.

Who it's for

An indispensable tool for UK jewellers, silversmiths, watchmakers, and serious beaders. Professionals and intermediate hobbyists will find these tweezers a reliable upgrade from less precise options, streamlining tasks like stone setting, bead threading, and intricate component assembly.

Common questions at the bench

Which tip size do I need?
Finer points suit small stones and fine work; broader tips hold larger stones, cabochons and beads more securely. Check this product's title and description for the tip it has.
How do I pick up a stone without it springing away?
Lay the stones on a soft pad or sorting tray, bring the tips down level and grip the stone across its widest point with light, even pressure: squeezing harder is what makes a stone spring out. Work over the tray so a dropped stone is easy to find.
How do I look after them?
Keep the tips clean and aligned and brush any grit out of the serrations. Do not use them to prise or lever, and store them where the tips cannot be knocked or bent.
