Vulcanizer Mould Frame — Single-Cavity Aluminium, 15 mm, 4-1/8" × 3-1/2", for Rubber Moulds
For jewellers cutting their own production moulds, the frame is where consistency starts. This single-cavity aluminium frame holds a standard block of casting rubber square in the vulcanizer while it cures, giving wax injection moulds with repeatable dimensions run after run. The external size is the common 4-1/8" × 3-1/2" footprint, so it fits most jewellery vulcanizer presses without adaptation.
Machined from a solid block of aluminium, it spreads press heat evenly through the rubber rather than curing the edges first, and the flat, parallel faces let the platens apply uniform pressure. The cavity corners are rounded to reduce the chance of tearing a cured mould on removal. Frame thickness is 15 mm, sized for standard blocks of casting rubber.
- Standard 4-1/8" × 3-1/2" external dimensions fit most jewellery vulcanizer presses.
- A 15mm frame thickness accommodates standard blocks of casting rubber.
- Machined from a solid block of aluminium for even heat distribution during curing.
- Single rectangular cavity with rounded corners to help prevent tearing of the rubber mould.
- Flat, parallel faces ensure uniform pressure from the vulcanizer plates.
Who it's for
A workshop staple for UK bench jewellers, casting houses, and jewellery design students who produce their own moulds for production runs. It is also suitable for model makers and hobbyists using vulcanizing systems for prototyping parts.
