The conical jaws are fully sleeved in white nylon, so you can wrap, loop and adjust directly against polished or coated surfaces and leave nothing behind.

The stainless steel body carries a lap joint with a double-leaf spring for a smooth, self-opening action, and the two-colour soft-grip handles are shaped to reduce fatigue over long wire-wrapping sessions. At 5 inches (approx. 125 mm) the pliers stay nimble for detailed loop work; check the nylon sleeves for wear grooves as they age, since the sleeve is what protects the wire. Two spare sleeves are included, so a worn one can be replaced.
