The problem with these is the massive return spring. Why does a pair of pliers even have a return spring ? I have flat nose, needle nose and round nose pliers and they dont have return springs. Its virtually impossible to lightly grip something or even lightly squeeze and item because the force needed to over come the spring is greater than that needed to feel the work in the jaws.
Disconnect the spring and i would raise these to 4 star but the construction is still too large and clunky for accurate work like jewellery repairs etc..
