Tumbling Shot Mix — 1 kg Stainless Steel Polishing Media, Spheres, Cones & Pins

Mixed stainless steel shot for tumble-polishing work that a single shape cannot reach. Spheres burnish flats and convex surfaces, diagonally-cut pins work into recesses and chain links, and the saucer-shaped cones add a third contact point on complex geometry — so a chain, a cast piece and a flat pendant all leave the same session evenly bright. Where burnishing sits in the wider finishing sequence is covered in our buff, mop and compound guide.

The 1 kg mix is stainless steel throughout, so it will not rust between sessions, and it suits all metals in both rotary and vibratory tumblers. Rinse and dry after use and store it clean for a long working life.

• A balanced mix of spheres, diagonally-cut pins, and saucer-shaped cones.
• Spheres burnish flat and convex surfaces whilst pins reach into recesses and links.
• The unique cone shape provides a third point of contact for complex geometry.
• Formed from stainless steel to prevent rust and ensure a long working life.
• Suitable for polishing all metals in both rotary and vibratory tumblers.

Who it's for

Primarily for bench jewellers and silversmiths requiring a high-quality, consistent finish on their work. Also suitable for model makers and engineers needing to deburr and polish small, detailed metal components.
