Celestial Blank Cutter — Crescent Moon Steel Punch & Die Set, 4 Sizes, 10-21 mm, Jewellery
A crescent blank is the starting point for celestial-themed pendants and earrings, decorative inlay on model work, and consistent bases for stamping or enamelling. Slide silver or copper sheet — up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) — into the die, drop in one of the four graduated punches and strike the bevelled end firmly with a mallet; the moon shears out crisp and repeatable.
Block and punches are machined from hardened high-carbon tool steel, each punch roughly 38 mm long — enough to grip and place accurately before the strike. A smear of cutting lubricant before each run protects the shearing edges and keeps every crescent as clean as the first.
- Four crescent punches: 10.6x11.2mm, 13.7x14.5mm, 16.4x17.3mm, and 19.1x20.2mm.
- Block and punches are machined from hardened high-carbon tool steel.
- Cuts non-ferrous metals like silver and copper up to 18 gauge (1.02mm).
- The solid steel die block measures 63.5 x 89 mm (2.5 x 3.5 inches).
- Each punch is approximately 38mm (1.5 inches) long with a bevelled striking end.
