Disc Cutter for Star Blanks — 5 Steel Punches, 8–21 mm, Jewellery Making Tool

For punching five-pointed star blanks in matched sizes — components for pendants, charms, earrings and decorative metalwork where every star has to match the last. Set non-ferrous sheet — silver, copper or brass up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) — in the die and strike the punch firmly with a mallet or hammer. The five punches cut stars of approximately 8x9, 11x12, 14x15, 17x18 and 20x21 mm.

The die block and punches are machined from tempered high-carbon tool steel for durable cutting edges, and the solid 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inch) block sits square under the strike. A cutting lubricant prolongs the life of the tool.
