This robust metal pin adjuster offers a stable, controlled method for resizing watch bracelets, ensuring a perfect fit for any timepiece.

What it does

Precisely push out watch band pins with its hardened steel pusher, guided by a large, easy-grip screw. The knurled thumbwheel adjusts the platform height, aligning bracelet links accurately for a straight pin removal. This prevents damage to pins and links, a common issue with less precise methods, ensuring a clean adjustment every time.

How to use it

  • Adjust platform height to align pin with pusher.
  • Turn screw to smoothly eject the pin.
  • Store safely after use to maintain condition.

Who it's for

Essential for watchmakers, jewellers, and serious hobbyists who regularly adjust metal watch straps. This tool replaces makeshift solutions like pliers or small hammers, offering greater control and precision for both professional repairs and personal collection maintenance.

Common questions at the bench

How do I take a link out of a bracelet?
Rest the bracelet on a firm support with the pin over a hole or channel, so the pin has room to come out. Many bracelets have small arrows on the inside of the links showing which way the pins come out; push in that direction. Line the point or pusher up with the end of the pin, then push or tap it straight through. This product's description shows where it fits in that job.
What if a pin will not push out?
Look at both ends of the pin first. A slot in the end means the link is held by a screw, which is undone with a watch screwdriver that fits the slot, not pushed out. If it is a push pin, check you are pushing in the direction of the arrows, and do not force it: a pin forced the wrong way can bend or damage the link.
Will it scratch the bracelet?
A tool that slips is what usually scratches a bracelet. Hold the bracelet steady, line the point or pusher up with the pin before you apply any force, and push straight rather than at an angle. A strip of masking tape over polished links next to the pin gives extra protection.
How should I look after it?
Wipe it clean after use and store it dry, keeping any wooden part away from water. Do not use a point or pusher that is bent or blunt, as it is more likely to slip off the pin.
