This robust metal pin adjuster offers a stable, controlled method for resizing watch bracelets, ensuring a perfect fit for any timepiece.

What it does

Precisely push out watch band pins with its hardened steel pusher, guided by a large, easy-grip screw. The knurled thumbwheel adjusts the platform height, aligning bracelet links accurately for a straight pin removal. This prevents damage to pins and links, a common issue with less precise methods, ensuring a clean adjustment every time.

How to use it

  • Adjust platform height to align pin with pusher.
  • Turn screw to smoothly eject the pin.
  • Store safely after use to maintain condition.

Who it's for

Essential for watchmakers, jewellers, and serious hobbyists who regularly adjust metal watch straps. This tool replaces makeshift solutions like pliers or small hammers, offering greater control and precision for both professional repairs and personal collection maintenance.

Common questions at the bench

Is this safe to use on a vintage watch?
Our case holders, spring-bar tools, and movement holders are designed for vintage and modern watch handling. Soft-jaw inserts protect plated bezels. For one-piece sapphire crystals and brittle dials, slow down and check the description for material limits.
What screwdriver size fits my watch?
Most modern watch movements use 1.0–1.6 mm screwdriver tips. Vintage Swiss often runs 0.8–1.2 mm. Our screwdriver sets cover 0.5–3.0 mm in 0.1 mm increments — you will use 4–6 sizes regularly. Hollow-ground tips grip the screw slot without slipping.
Why do I need a demagnetiser?
Modern phones, magnetic clasps, and stray fields from speakers magnetise watch movements, causing time-keeping drift. A 30-second pass through a demagnetiser fixes most cases. A £20 desk demagnetiser pays for itself within the first time you would otherwise pay a watchmaker to diagnose it.
Can I work on a Rolex or other high-end piece?
These tools are bench-grade and suitable for hobbyist and professional watch repair. For warranty-affecting work on serial-tracked luxury watches, always check whether intervention voids your warranty before opening. We cannot verify what is appropriate for every brand.
