For the routine jobs that walk through the door: battery changes, bracelet sizing, strap and buckle swaps, and opening case backs for minor servicing. Sixteen tools cover the sequence end to end — an adjustable wrench and pry knife for screw-down and snap-on backs, a strap holder block and pin pusher for link removal, and a forked spring bar tool for straps and buckles.

The kit rounds out with fine-point tweezers, needle-nose pliers, a dual-head steel and nylon hammer, and a set of small screwdrivers and pin punches on knurled metal grips. A sensible bench set for technicians handling routine work, and for collectors who prefer to service their own watches.

  • Includes an adjustable two-pin case back wrench and a pry knife for both screw-down and snap-on backs.
  • Features a strap holder block with a pin pusher for straightforward removal of bracelet links.
  • A dedicated spring bar tool with forked and pin ends simplifies strap and buckle changes.
  • Contains fine-point tweezers, needle-nose pliers, and a dual-head (steel/nylon) hammer for general handling.
  • A selection of small screwdrivers and pin punches with knurled metal grips for secure handling.

Common questions at the bench

What is each tool for?
This product's description gives the job of each tool: the adjustable two-pin case back wrench and the pry knife open screw-down and snap-on case backs, the strap holder block and pin pusher remove bracelet links, and the spring bar tool changes straps and buckles. The fine-point tweezers, needle-nose pliers and steel and nylon hammer are for general handling, and the kit also has small screwdrivers and pin punches.
How do I open a case back without scratching it?
Hold the watch so it cannot move, for example in a case holder, and look at the back first. A screw-down back has notches round its edge: set the two pins of the wrench firmly in opposite notches and turn steadily. A snap-on back has a small lip or notch: work the blade of the pry knife in there and lift gently. If a tool starts to slip, or the back will not move, stop and reset rather than force it.
Will the watch still be water resistant after I open it?
Opening the back disturbs the seal that keeps water out. Before you close it, check the seal is clean, undamaged and sitting in its groove. If the watch needs to stay water resistant, have it tested before it gets wet.
How do I change a strap?
Press the spring bar in at one end with the forked end of the spring bar tool, ease that end of the strap out of the lug, then free the other end. Fit the new strap the same way, letting each end of the bar click into its lug hole, and give the strap a gentle pull to check it is held at both ends.
