Disc Cutter for Christian Cross Blanks — 5 Steel Punches, 7–23 mm, Jewellery Making Tool
For punching repeatable Christian Cross blanks straight from sheet — the base for pendants, charms and layered components, and quick enough for small production runs of religious or gothic-themed work. Set annealed sheet of non-ferrous metal up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) in the die, seat the punch you need — 7x10, 9x13, 10x15, 13x19 or 15x23 mm — and strike the bevelled end decisively with a brass or nylon mallet.
The die block and all five punches are machined from hardened carbon steel to a close-tolerance fit, which is what keeps the cut edges crisp rather than ragged. A little cutting lubricant before each session noticeably extends the life of the cutting edges.
