Disc Cutter Set — Kite Blanks, 4 Steel Punches, 14-31 mm, for Jewellery Sheet Metal
Kite shapes that step up in close increments — 14.69 × 23.06 mm, 16.19 × 25.4 mm, 17.69 × 27.75 mm and 19.2 × 30.09 mm — close enough to build graduated pendant sets or stepped, layered designs. Each blank shears from the sheet in one brass-mallet strike, identical across the run.
Punches and the roughly 76 × 76 mm die block are hardened high-carbon tool steel. Anneal your copper, brass, silver or gold sheet first — softened metal cuts cleaner and is kinder to the edges — and if annealing is new to you, our pickle bath guide covers the clean-up afterwards. Keep sheet to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) and use cutting lubricant.
- Punches and die block machined from high-carbon tool steel for durability.
- Includes four kite-shaped punches: 14.7, 16.2, 17.7, and 19.2 mm widths.
- Cuts non-ferrous sheet metal up to 18 gauge (1.02 mm) thick.
- Solid steel die block measures approximately 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 inches).
- Ideal for creating consistent, repeatable kite-shaped blanks for jewellery.
