Blanking Punch & Die Set — Shield, 4 Steel Punches, 8-22 mm, Jewellery Making

Shield blanks in four graduated sizes — from 8.14 × 12.45 mm up to 13.86 × 21.19 mm — punched clean from sheet in a single hammer strike each. A quick way to keep pendant, earring and decorative components identical across a run, whether you work in silver, copper or brass; gold sheet cuts happily too.

The die block (63.5 × 88.9 mm) and all four punches are hardened, tempered carbon tool steel. Each punch is ground sharp at the cutting end and bevelled at the striking end; feed the die sheet no thicker than 18 gauge (1.02 mm), add a drop of cutting lubricant, and the edges will stay sharp through repeated use.
